PyPad

A notebook for teaching Python

It runs in the learner's browser. Put it in a quiz question, project it in a lecture, or hand it out as a link. Nothing to install, no accounts to create, and no server running anyone's code.

Three ways to use it

What stays under your control

Using it in Moodle

Write the notebook in the editor, choose Copy as Moodle embed, and paste the result into a question in the HTML view. Teachers who can add script tags to questions need nothing else.

Accessible and private by design

Built to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, with keyboard use throughout. No tracking and no analytics. Read exactly where student work goes.
